Ian's First Egg Hunt

We spent the afternoon hunting eggs with our friends the Albracht's. Ian had a good time running around the open field playing with eggs, but not putting them in his basket. Fred tried his hardest to get Ian interested in blue eggs or even the ones shaped like sports balls, but it was to no avail. Pink was Ian's color of choice! We give great thanks for this day in the life of God's risen Son who gave His life for our sweet son.

Easter Morning!

We had a wonderful Easter morning with Ian going through his basket of goodies and of course wearing his new Easter outfit.

Easter Cookie Attempt

My attempt at making Easter egg cookies was going well until I realized they took shape as a flower instead of eggs. Ian doesn't eat sweets that much so looks like Fred and I will be indulging in an Easter egg shaped flower soon.

Eating at the Table

We moved from the highchair to a booster seat this week and have started making attempts with utensils. Ian is definitely growing more independent, so most meals end up on him or on the floor. He LOVES his placemat with animals and ABC's and now makes animal noises all through dinner...wouldn't want to hear any other sound!

Loving My Swing

Since the weather has gotten warmer, Ian and I have spent hours in his swing. I think it's his favorite place on earth!
