Playing Guitar with Daddy

As soon as Fred pulls out his guitar, Ian lights up. He dances, laughs, and eventually crawls to Fred to join in.

Pumpkin Patch

Looking at my first pumpkin

This was for my parents' enjoyment, not my own.

Walking through the pumpkin patch with Daddy

We spent the afternoon at the pumpkin patch for Ian's first Fall and Halloween. As usual, he was observant and curious in his new environment. He watched Fred pick pumpkins and seemed to like the "baby" pumpkin his dad picked especially for him.

Learning to Crawl and Stand

A bit wobbly, but making it happen

Ian has been working so hard on standing on his own. He's been crawling now for three weeks and it seems he's on his way to being completely mobile. Watch out Mom and Dad!

Ian's first pair of shoes

My first pair of shoes

Ian wore his first pair of shoes to worship this morning. It took three tries before he finally left them on and stopped kicking them off. It takes a minute for Ian to adjust to anything new, whether food, schedule changes, and obviously wearing shoes fits into that category...not sure where he gets this! Ha! He is definitely his mother's child when it comes to change.

My First Teething Biscuit

Laughing at Daddy while I try my biscuit

Interesting...

Here Daddy...you can have it

Good stuff

Ian had his first teething biscuit this afternoon. He seemed to enjoy it at first, but repeatedly knocked it off of his highchair tray after a few minutes of gnawing.
