We spent a few days in Ruidoso, New Mexico with our good friends Gabe and Christy Gillespie and their two daughters Sadie and Claire. We enjoyed strolling through downtown, shopping, and eating homemade fudge. We also enjoyed our scenic mountain drive and eating delicious Mexican green chiles (well, I did. Fred's a bit skeptical of the green chiles). I loved being surrounded by blankets of trees, smelling fresh mountain air, and watching Fred and Ian feed the ducks. It was a nice trip and great first family experience exploring the southwest.
