A Quick Trip to the Plains

We stopped in Auburn during our southeastern travels to marvel at the National Title Trophy and see the new banner at Jordan Hare. We dropped by the Auburn museum for a quick snapshot with Aubie and then headed to one of my favorite restaurants, Amsterdam Cafe for lunch with Jim and Mary Brinkerhoff. I love visiting my "home away from home" if even for an afternoon and letting Ian experience a small piece of Auburn.

Easter Egg Hunting and Playtime

Ian hunted Easter eggs and spent time playing outside with Granddaddy, CoCo, Aunt Amber, and Aunt Aprile during our GA visit. He's come along way since egg hunting last year and found them pretty quickly. He really enjoyed drawing with sidewalk chalk and playing ball.

Decorating Easter Eggs

Ian dyed eggs this spring for the first time while visiting the Liggin's in GA. He liked dropping them in the dye more than actually decorating. He got quite disturbed when one broke. Poor kid...he hates messes.

Ian's First Braves Game

We took Ian to opening weekend for Braves baseball this year. He only sat through 2 innings, but really seemed to enjoy the entire Braves experience.

Snow Boots in Spring

I bought Ian a pair of Toy Story snow boots last week to prepare for our crazy winters. He loved them and asked to wear "Woody/Buzz" all day!

First VA Beach Trip

We took a day trip to VA Beach last weekend and took advantage of the warm weather. Ian hasn't been to the beach much in his young life so we weren't certain he would like it. Boy, were we wrong! He loved chasing the waves and getting his feet wet. He ran all over the beach, laughing and enjoying himself. Can't wait to plan more beach days this summer!

Visiting with the Haverstick's

Meeting Bradyn

The Haverstick's came for a visit to Williamsburg recently and Ian got to meet his new cousin Bradyn. He was very kind and sweet to Bradyn (which is good to know). We all went touring through Colonial Williamsburg during their visit and got to see some interesting sites.
